Asparagus and wine: a beautiful pair!

Not everyone likes asparagus, but this is a good thing because there are more to those who appreciate them. Who loves asparagus must know that those of South Tyrol are among the best.

In April and May in the villages around Terlan, Vilpiano, Settequerce takes place  the collection of asparagus.
If you are on holiday in South Tyrol in those months you can visit these three countries and try the tasty dishes based on asparagus, always accompanied by good wine: Sauvignon or Burgundy.

For those who love wine as well as asparagus, this is also the period of “Vino in Festa” on the wine road of South Tyrol, where knowing and appreciating wines. In spring these places have really a charm, thanks to the flowering apple trees that surround everyone in a white cloud almost unreal.
